About CASA 13th South

The 13th South Judicial District CASA Program recruits and trains community volunteers in Union and Columbia Counties to advocate for abused and neglected children in the Juvenile Court system.

The 13th South Judicial District CASA is a 501 (C)3 non-profit organization that advocates for abused and neglected children in Union and Columbia Counties. In 1996 the 13th Judicial District CASA was formed and consisted of six counties: Calhoun, Columbia, Cleveland, Dallas, Ouachita, and Union. As the case load began to grow it became difficult to effectivley manage such a big territory. In 2009 the Board of Directors and State CASA decided it was in the best interest of the program to divide into two separate programs, forming the 13th North and the 13th South. 13th South's main office is located in El Dorado with a remote office in Magnolia.
